Leaving Your Mark with Mayor Halloran

Mayor Halloran will be hosting an interactive workshop on March 8th at 7pm inthe WLUSU Boardroom.  She will be talking about ways for students to get the most out of the city of Waterloo, and how to make a difference.

Refreshments will be served at this workshop, and donations are greatly appreciated.

Book this in your calendar and get there early because space is limited!

“My thanks to all of you who organized the workshop and for those who attended – you are all amazing leaders and it was absolutely inspirational for me to get to spend time discussing the community and future issues that affect us all – you will be the change!”
– Mayor Brenda Halloran

Performing Under Pressure

On March 7th, ACCESS U is hosting a workshop that is designed to help you become a professional public speaker.
Join us at 7pm in SBE1240 (Schlegel Centre) for one of our most anticipated workshops. Donations are appreciated, and refreshments will be served.

This workshop is an invaluable resource for any Political Science or Business student as it aims to help you portray your ideas in front of a large crowd as efficiently and impressively as possible. You do not want to miss this!

A Successful Bake Sale!

A special thanks goes out to the students of Laurier and the wonderful ACCESS U team.  Together we raised $CDN 342 at our event.  We have surpassed our goal of raising $USD 250 ($CDN 249).  Yes, Canadian dollars are currently worth more than US dollars.

All of the money will be given to ACCESS Charity and then used to sponsor a high school student in Jacmel, Haiti.  Well done everyone, we did it!
