Fundraising by Schools and Groups
Inspired by the reality of the situation in the Dominican Republic you witnessed during a presentation? If you would like to contribute to ACCESS by hosting a Fundraising event, either personally or through a school or church, you are invited to do so! If you know of any successful ideas for fundraisers, please let us know. Contact us for more and feel free to share your ideas!
School Supply Drives are welcome, notifying us before hand. Currently we recommend a Read-A-Thon Fundraiser, which is perfect for elementary schools because it allows participants to take advantage of the wide range of books and resources we have in the developed world. We also offer a chance for students to write letters to children in the developing world in which we work. |

Another School Year to Make Change
As we have entered yet another year of school in North America, one billion people (1/5 of the World's population) live on less than $1 a day. Despite advances in technology and overall development, extreme poverty still exists in our world. Why not make a donation to the children of the developing world to start off the new year? As you may have made your yearly resolution to improve your own life, don't forget about the suffering people of the world. Making a donation of any amount can change a child's life, especially the gift of an Education. |
