Welcome teachers, group leaders, parents and educators! We offer a selection of free resources available to download, print and share with students. The goal is to spread the word of important social justice and education-related issues facing the world today.
Sister Kelly of the Grey Sisters expressed to ACCESS that education is one of the keys to getting out of poverty. Through our Educator Resources, ACCESS aims to demonstrate the importance of education in the world today, by making a connection between North American classrooms and the developing world.

A Message to Teachers
Teaching is a vocation – a calling. We are called to not only educate, but to empower and engage today’s youth. As teachers, we have a great responsibility to teach the curriculum and prepare our students to be well informed and well equipped with the tools and knowledge for a bright future. However, more than ever before, we have a moral responsibility to our students. We must look beyond what textbooks can provide, beyond what a classroom can create, beyond how a curriculum can drive our instruction. Rather we must be driven to empower and engage our students to see their lives, their world in a much bigger context. We have a moral obligation as teachers to allow students to experience history, religion, the arts, language in the real world. More importantly, we must entrust upon our students that they have the power to make a difference – they have an impact on our world.
ACCESS Educator Resources provide you with a number of activities and tools that will help you facilitate discussions and perhaps create a new moral tone in your classrooms.
