Roman won’t be Harbaugh’s offensive coordinator at Michigan

Greg Roman apparently won’t be joining new Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh with the Wolverines, at least not as his offensive coordinator.

Roman was hired as 49ers offensive coordinator shortly after Harbaugh’s arrival in January 2011. He became a lightning rod for criticism as the 49ers offense stumbled during an 8 8 season that ended Sunday with Harbaugh’s “mutual” departure. Roman also coached under Harbaugh at Stanford (2009 10).

According to the Sacramento Bee, 49ers receivers coach John Morton will be coming to Michigan as well.
